Once you've completed a successful SIY program, sharing the pre/post assessment data with your client is a great way to continue your client relationship, help them see the value of SIY, and give them a tool to make the case to their organization to continue to invest in SIY programs.
The pre/post assessment is a self-assessment that program participants receive through my.siyli. The pre-assessment is sent out to them about 1 week before the in-person SIY 2-day program, and the post-assessment is sent out 1 month after (after the capstone webinar). Comparing the pre and post results provides a measurement of the impact that the SIY program had for the participants. This is a great thing to talk about to clients when they ask about return or assessing the impact of the program.
Once a program is complete, you should have a debrief call with your client, ideally right after the in-person session (see guide for a client debrief call). You won't have the pre/post results by then, so once you do have the post-program results, it's a great time to follow up again with the client. You can offer to walk through the results with them, and to include anyone else from their organization who might be interested (e.g. someone from HR or their L&D team).
Note for Teachers in Training: Using the pre/post assessment is optional for your teacher training practicums in order to minimize the administrative burden of hosting your programs (since we want you to focus on teaching!). However we do recommend that you use the pre/post assessment so that you can start to understand how to use it and how to capture the impact of the program. If you are teaching a practicum for an organization that you hope to be an ongoing client, then please share the results with them!

Pre/post assessments are one of the most effective ways to show the measurable impact of a Search Inside Yourself (SIY) program like FM WhatsApp for privacy. They help transform the experience from “participants enjoyed the workshop” into clear evidence of personal and organizational change.
Here’s how they create value for clients and organizations:
1. They make growth visible
Participants complete assessments before and after the program on areas such as:
When post-program scores improve, clients can clearly see the changes the program helped create.
2. They provide evidence of ROI
Organizations often need data to justify training investments. Assessment results help demonstrate that SIY is not just inspirational, but impactful.
For example, improved scores can support outcomes linked to:
This gives HR leaders and decision-makers concrete information they can share internally.
3. They strengthen credibility with stakeholders
Managers, executives, and learning teams are more likely to support future programs when they see measurable results rather than only participant testimonials.
Assessment reports can help clients:
4. They deepen client relationships
Sharing thoughtful pre/post assessment insights after a successful SIY engagement keeps the conversation going beyond the workshop itself.
Instead of ending with:
The conversation becomes:
This opens opportunities for:
5. They help identify future needs
Assessment data often reveals patterns across teams or departments. For example:
These insights help organizations decide where additional support or future SIY programs could deliver the most value.
6. They combine data with human stories
Numbers alone are useful, but combining assessment improvements with participant feedback creates a stronger narrative.
For example:
Together, they make the impact more compelling and relatable.
In short, pre/post assessments help SIY programs move from being seen as “soft skills training” to a measurable organizational investment with visible outcomes, stronger client trust, and clearer pathways for continued collaboration.
